Robert Herjavec Bio (Age)
Robert Herjavec was born on the 14th of September 1962 in Varazdin, present day Croatia . His father’s name is Vladimir while his mother’s name is Katica. Herjavec spent the first eight years of his life in Yugoslavia. During this period, his father was somewhat of a political dissident and often spoke about communism. These tirades often landed the elder Herjavec in prison, and in 1970 he decided to leave his native country.
The whole family packed their things in one suitcase and left Yugoslavia armed with only 20 dollars. The Herjavec family first moved to Italy before relocating to Halifax, Canada. They eventually settled in a small suburb of Toronto. Herjavec and his family lived in a family friend’s basement for the first 18 months. His father later got a job and the family fortune slowly improved. Robert Herjavec resumed his education and although he didn’t speak English at first, he still did well in school. He later earned a dual degree in Political Science and English Literature from the University of Toronto in 1984.

Herjavec has been married twice. His first marriage was to Canadian doctor Diane Plese in 1990. The union lasted 24 years and produced two daughters, Caprice and Skye, and a son named Brendan. The couple later called it quits in 2014 and the divorce was finalized in 2016. The tech mogul later revealed the pain of the divorce, including his children’s hostility, made him suicidal. Herjavec has now fallen back in love with Kym Johnson.

Herjavec first met his wife when she was made his partner in the 2015 edition of Dancing With the Stars . The couple entered into a romantic relationship after the show and got engaged in February 2016. They later linked on the 31st of July 2016. The couple have two children together; Twins, Hudson Robert and Haven Mae who were born in April 2018.
